A modern and attractive railway waiting structure, this shelter is designed for the rail environment. The design has been developed to support a wide canopy with a cantilever configuration. The totem style structures provide surfaces for branding and information provision. These can also be used for help points and illumination.
Specification
- Constructed with stainless steel and anodised or polyester powder coated aluminium extrusions.
- Modular in design and available with a range of sizes to suit individual location constraints.
- Toughened and laminated glazed canopy with opaque finish to provide light transmittance but mask dirt build-up. Other glazing options of polycarbonate and solid panels available.
- Robust vertical glazing clamped on all 4 sides of each panel. Can be glazed with toughened laminate or toughened safety glass. Other options include polycarbonate, solid or perforated panels.
- FSC hardwood DDA compliant seating with stainless steel and timber handles. A more comfortable and sustainable seat especially during winter months.
- High efficiency LED light panels provide good footprint lighting uniformity.
- Concealed gutters with gutter brush system to reduce maintenance and all discharge to low level through totem connections.
- Glazed totems provide space for marketing/ branding and information. These can be illuminated.
- Adequate provision for future and existing technologies and associated electronics available within the structure, such as cameras, CCTV, phone charging, WIFI hotspots, ticket machines, passenger information screens and kiosks.
- Can accommodate a green living roof.
